So far we have had a busy summer.
In June George completed 2 weeks of swimming lessons and 2 weeks of summer school.
My parents took both George and Nina up north to our family cabin for the 4th of July weekend while Andy and I attended a family wedding in Newport, Oregon. We had a great time on our own (although we did miss the kids), and really enjoyed being cold for a few days. Before we left the Phoenix Metro area had enjoyed 20+ days with temps over 110 - so 55 was quite a shock to our systems.
In 2 weeks we will be joining the Abel Clan in southern California for a week of laying on the beach (in the sun for those of you in Oregon...). We are all really looking forward to this annual trip west too.
