Once again this year we were lucky enough to get to spend some time in San Clemente, CA with the Abel clan.
This year we spent a day renting a couple of longboards and all had a try at it. As you can see here from left: Ms Howell, Ginger, Gilligan, MaryAnn and the Professor. George had a great time practicing his "surfing."
Nina had a fabulous time playing in the water and the waves with her cousin Clare. Most days it was hard to get them to go home!
And, my beach bums. Both George and Mary did better this year, but both still preferred to play in the sand rather than the surf.
