After an exhausting December we finally settled down and had a nice, calm Christmas Day. It was complete with a sit down dinner for a mere 17 adults, 4 kids and 3 babies... And Christmas night I fell asleep on the couch and didn't get up until the 27th. :)No, actually we had a very nice day. The kids had a great morning and the day continued on very well at our house where the family descended in phases. The gift opening and eating lasted most of the day and would have ended sooner except that my turkey roulade took 90 minutes longer than it was supposed to. The bright side is that with 90 extra minutes to graze a lot more Christmas cookies than normal were consumed!
